Hello! This is my first visit to this site - just became aware of this game today!!!

The additon of building structures as miniatures is a great idea - any plans on incorporating 'real world' edifaces to the game in some or other fashion?

Along side of generic pieces, I think it would be cool to have a Mount Rushmore, Sears Tower, St. Louis Arch, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, Red Square, Effiel Tower, etc., etc., to throw down around.

This looks like it could be a fun game to get into and I plan on tracking the development, that's for sure!

I seen some other locations in giant monster films Dragon Wars is not in New York (I think), Transformers (giant robots) in Colorando, Sci-fi channel giant monsters are everywhere. In Godzilla:Final War is a nice world tour of destruction by the big monsters.

The moment Jon Peters and Superman was mentioned, I knew I had to post this vid...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgYhLIThTvk

That said, I hope this blog post means we'll be seeing actual landmarks having kaiju smashed into 'em. Tokyo Tower, the Space Needle, Hancock Tower, or even the Taipei 101... Something about the game will feel a little more grounded in the genre if it uses real-world references too.

I always thought New York was the city of choice because you have the largest American population there, and therefore, the most association with the locale. You either live there, have lived there or you know someone who lives there, probably. It gives a good shortcut for the marketing.

IMHO, there's a list of world-class cities that will be spectacular arenas for kaiju battles. Will we get to see buildings that are homages, themselves, to world landmarks, like the pyramids at Giza, the Sydney Opera House, the space needles and others? Very cool!
